We wanted this congress in ecology and evolution to be rooted in society and to be an opportunity to highlight solutions that our researches can bring to today's major environmental challenges.
In this way, we are convinced that Art can be a major complementary asset to our scientific approaches, both because Art is able to provoke emotions that can help convey our scientific ideas and concepts, and because artists possess a creativity that can be complementary to our scientific works by making it possible to implement new solutions, more sustainable and more respectful of the environment and of human health.
During this congress, we invite you to live different experiences combining Art and Ecology (or Sciences in general). You will have the opportunity to put yourself in the shoes of an artist, to observe works created by artists wishing to change the world or to understand what can bring artists and scientists closer in their ways of working...
Below, you will find the program of these different experiences (https://factuel.univ-lorraine.fr/node/21403) and we hope that you will enjoy living them as much as we took pleasure in preparing them for you...

- Photo exhibition: 21 – 24 November at the congress center - Metz
Description: This exhibition will be inspired from the book “Une autre terre” (O. Dangles & F. Nowicki; in English “Another Earth”). In a very short time on the geological scale, our species created "another Earth", significantly different from that which existed when man appeared. The changes that have transformed our planet are now so profound that they threaten the very functioning of the biosphere, de facto endangering the future of humanity. Back and forth between texts and images of striking beauty thus allow everyone to build a clear and global vision of the challenges imposed on life on Another Earth.
